So you like our sound and lighting - you can have that too....
We are pleased to announce our new PA & Lighting services, so what's it all about?
“I love working with all musicians. Giving them their best sound! ”
With a reputation amongst local musicians for producing fantastic live sound. The sound system used is designed especially for small to medium venues supporting solo acts and small bands. With a digital mixing desk, quality active speaker system, various vocal/drum/instrument microphones and DI boxes for acoustic instrument input. There are 3 active monitors for the band with additional auxiliary outputs for in-ear monitoring. This makes a complete PA system covering most requirements for sound amplification/realistic sound reproduction for any artist.
“The performer can then just concentrate on their "job!" connecting with the audience and giving their best performance. At the end of the day if they enjoy it, the fans enjoy it! That's what it's all about”
EAs a performer I know that on-stage monitoring can make the difference between an OK performance and a great performance. Great monitoring means that "you" the performer can hear yourself, confident in your pitching, your intonation. Thus reducing "performance anxiety" knowing that you're taken care of. This means that you can just concentrate on performing, connecting with your audience! Isn't that what it's all about? Everyone enjoying your gig!
“Her passion for great live sound reproduction shines through! ”
The Allen & Heath QU16 has fantastic built-in effects, which Ann uses on "the fly". So whether it's a well known cover or an "original" song, reverbs and tap-delays are used as appropriate to add depth to your performance.
“We can't see you!”
So what about lighting?
It's all about sharing social media these days, from quick messages on "Twitter", photos using "Instagram". and then FaceBook! enough said. So why not add lighting to your events?
As a band we have the following in our lighting rig
2 x lighting stands, each with 4 small par cams and 2 moving head wash fixtures
2 x ADJ GoBars (Love these for lighting each side of the drum kit, makes the Crome hardware sparkle)
2 x ADJ Hex Bars for front band lighting
4 x ADJ Tri Pars for additional wash colour and adding UV to your show
1 x GoStar for Gobo and laser effects
1 x UtraStar Laser
1 x QTZ Hazer for those all important "smoke effect" without the smoke! Infact Haze Machines are preferred in venues as they use water based vapour and so are unlikely to set off the fire alarms!
“That's a lot of lighting, how do you make it dance?”
Simple! It's DMX controlled with pre-programmed chases and effects prior to your event. All controlled live and synchronised to the beat using either tap tempo or music feed (usually from kick drum). So if you've a theme in mind for your event that requires particular colours/washes then we can accommodate you.
